A self destruction note left by a resigned post trial supervisor who committed suicide after lethally shooting her ex-girl in-regulation nitty gritty the more established lady’s fight with disease and doubts that her granddaughter was being manhandled — claims youngster administration laborers recently resolved were unwarranted.

Kathleen Leigh, 65, shot Marisa Galloway, 45, the mother of her 4-year-old granddaughter, on E. 88th St. close to York St. on the Upper East Side Friday morning, then directed the firearm back toward herself. The horrifying homicide self destruction was connected with a continuous guardianship debate among Galloway and Leigh’s child over the young lady, Head of Criminal investigators Joseph Kenny said.

Investigators found a seven-page note on Leigh, who passed on at the scene, police sources told The Day to day News.

In a letter tended to “for police,”Leigh composed of her dissatisfactions with specialists, grumbling they didn’t really accept that claims that Galloway had manhandled Leigh’s granddaughter, a police source said.
Cops had been called to Galloway’s home multiple times somewhere in the range of 2021 and 2022. Each of the occurrences included contentions between Galloway, the 4-year-old’s dad, and Leigh over appearance privileges and other guardianship matters, said Kenny.

A care body of evidence against Galloway was recorded by her ex, Zachariah Reed, on Aug. 20, 2021 in New York High Court, as per a state court data set. The last appearance was a settlement meeting in December 2023, as per the data set.

The dad right now has care of the 4-year-old young lady, cops said, while Galloway’s 1-year-old girl is with her maternal grandparents in New Jersey.

Only minutes before Friday’s bloodletting, Galloway had lashed the child young lady into a vehicle seat toward the rear of a Honda. Leigh then started shooting, shooting Galloway in the head. The child was safe, cops said.

The resigned post trial supervisor from Chicago had been living with family members in New York for the beyond three years while she went through disease treatment, police sources said.

The shooting occurred over two blocks from Galloway’s apartment complex, and under a street or two away from Gracie House, home to City hall leader Adams.
